What is online family mediation?
Family mediation helps you make agreements during or after family separation or divorce. With online family mediation, an expert family mediator supports you by video-call, phone and email. It is convenient as you can join appointments from your chosen space without having to travel. Online family mediation is also more affordable and flexible.
We provide specialist family mediation, delivered by a team of experienced and professional mediators. Our family mediators are authorised and regulated by the Family Mediation Council (FMC).
We are here to help with any questions: call us free on 0800 133 7303 or click Contact Us for other ways to get in touch.
Prices
We can resolve issues from as little as £95 each.
If you are discussing children, we provide £500 worth of free mediation, through the government-funded Mediation Voucher Scheme.
Because we are based online, we are able to pass savings on, offering an hourly rate 14% below the industry average.

Family Mediation: step-by-step
1. Individual appointment ('MIAM')
The first step is an individual meeting with one of our expert family mediators. This is often known as a ‘MIAM’ session. It is a confidential session by video-call where you will get guidance on all your options, and a detailed explanation of the mediation process. Together with the mediator, you will plan the best route forward to resolve the issues. You will work with the same mediator through the whole process.
2. Mediation appointments
Your mediator will contact the other person in the dispute to start discussions. We will arrange a mediation session to carefully and calmly work through the issues. This can be a joint discussion, or ‘shuttle’ mediation where you do not have direct contact with each other. We will do everything we can to help you come to an agreement everyone is satisfied with.
3. Written agreement
When you reach an agreement, we can provide it in a formal document. You can show this document to a lawyer if you wish to take legal advice, before making the agreement legally binding. In certain situations, you may choose to keep your agreement informal rather than involving the courts.
