Sandra Hollins

Sandra Hollins has been involved in Family Dispute Resolution for over 25 years having practised as a family lawyer and running her own Legal and Conveyancing practise in South Africa, where she also qualified as a Family Mediator before moving to the UK in 2017. Sandra re-commenced her practice as a Family Mediator in the UK in the belief that mediation is a more holistic and less adversarial approach to dealing with family conflict.

Sandra assists parents in making the often difficult transitions during separation and divorce by walking her clients through each step of the process at their pace, with a particular focus on the impact of family conflict on any children involved. Sandra is Accredited with the Family Mediation Council and a member of the College of Mediators.

Outside work Sandra enjoys spending her time in art galleries, studying Art History, enjoys walking and spending time outdoors.

Emily Dobson

Emily Dobson

Emily Dobson is a Family Mediator trained by National Family Mediation and registered with the Family Mediation Council.  Emily explains: “I am committed to helping families resolve their disputes in a constructive way that considers the future needs of the whole family.  Whether it is parenting, finances, property or all of these issues, I help clients approach resolution through determining what is needed and what is fair.”

Emily is a member of the professional body The College of Mediators. Prior to her move into Family Mediation, Emily worked in finance and HR.  Emily says: “People often come to mediation at their most vulnerable. They face a scary, daunting and uncertain future ahead and, in a lot of cases, talking to me is the first time they have really been able to express this. I aim to help them realise that there is a route through and to alleviate some of the worries and concerns that have been consuming them. My approach is to calmly breakdown people’s fears by isolating particular points of contention or concern; from this point we can tackle each one individually, creating a clear route to resolution. ”
